Festival City Motors are members of the UCDA, (Used Car Dealers Association) abiding by the strict Code of Ethics and rules and regulations. We are also members of the Stratford Chamber of Commerce. All members of our staff are properly licensed by OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) and must abide by all rules and regulations. Also we have an A+ rating with the Better Busines Bureau.
Selling vehicles has always been part of what we do, John Riordon, is well known for his antique cars, mostly 1955 and 1956 Ford's and Mercury's, but you never know what he may be interested in.
In his Antique car hobby he has sold Canada wide, across the USA and world wide! With that experience of describing and selling an antique car over the phone, we have been able to translate that into properly describing a truck, cargo van and SUV to you over the phone. You have heard the saying 'it is what it is' , well that is the way we describe a vehicle.
In the begining we were on a small lot located on Road 111 (McKone Road) however, with trucks and vans difficult to find, we had a lot of customers driving in from out of town and had a tough time finding us. A property came up for sale on Hwy 7 & 8 and we were able to purchase in 1993 and the renovations began! We opened at that location in April 1994. The highway location gave us greater visibility as well as a larger inventory capacity and more room to display our vehicles.
Recently we sold that property and have re-located to 686 Mornington Street, Stratford.
